Pocket Reduction Treatment - stops the progression of periodontal disease and eliminates the bacterial infection. Dr. Domagala gains access to the diseased pockets by reflecting the gum tissues back. This allows him to thoroughly remove the bacterial products at the base of the pocket. The gum tissues are then repositioned to achieve pocket reduction so it will be easier to maintain your periodontal health in the future. If the pockets are left untreated, the affected teeth can become loose and eventually will be lost.
