Regeneration - is a procedure that regenerates bone and supporting tissues previously lost to periodontal disease. Your bone and gum should fit snugly around your teeth. However, if you
have periodontal disease and if it is left untreated the supporting tissue and bone are destroyed
and pockets develop. If too much bone is lost your teeth will be extracted. Regeneration can
reverse some of the damage by restoring previously destroyed bone and supporting structures
and strengthens the teeth so they can function longer and more comfortably.
